In OHS Online, what is a W.Cl.6 – Resumption Report form how do I use it?

Ah, almost there now! Yes, the W.Cl.6 - Resumption Report form is the last form in the process. This is completed by you, the employer, as soon as the employee returns to work (or when the employee has been discharged in certain cases) and is more commonly referred to as a W.Cl.6 form:

Once the employee is back at work, complete the W.Cl.6 report form. Here are a couple of important points to note when completing your W.Cl.6 report:

1/. Dates: These are the first date the employee is off duty and the last date the employee is off duty
2/. The earnings paid to the employee whilst they are off duty, must be the actual figure
3/. Light Duty Dates: These are the first date the employee started light duties and the last date the employee worked light duties
4/. The earnings paid to the employee whilst they were on light duties, must be the actual figure
5/. The % Value of the employee's light duties: This works in the following way; if a technician normally earns R100 per hour and is given an administrative job, whilst on light duties and the value of the administrative job is R50 per hour, then his value to the company is 50%, whilst working on light duties.

Once your W.Cl.6 report has been completed, make a copy of this yourself and keep this on record and then submit the W.Cl.6 form to the Compensation Commissioner.
