WHY IS THIS INSPECTION REQUIRED?

This inspection is required to ensure that all symbolic safety signs are in place, are easily identifiable and in good working order and remain suitable for use. This inspection is conducted by a SafetyWallet partner on behalf of the user, on the user's site and forms part of the annual inspection process for symbolic safety signs inspections in the workplace for the user.

WHY IS THIS INSPECTION IMPORTANT?

This inspection shows that regular checks are made within the business concerning symbolic safety signs inspections. This means that planned actions (in relation to symbolic safety signs) can be checked upon for progress or completion and new gaps identified that may relate to the incorrect or wrongful use of symbolic safety signs. VALIDITY

This inspection needs to be conducted by a person competent and appointed to do so and also needs to be signed and dated by that person. The inspection must be kept on record and made available to any interested parties who may wish to see it or refer to it at a later time.
