How do I complete the Work Environment section of the Environmental tab, in OHS Online?

Yep, sure thing! Let's take a closer look at this section. The first thing which needs to be done is to examine the work environment to determine what potential environmental hazards are associated with the work being done, as well as what workplace infrastructure may be affected during this process.

This work environment section does this and is very quick and easy to complete. It consists of a series of common work hazards, associated to environmental factors, which could be hazardous to the environment. The Permit Issuer and Permit Requester work together to determine which hazards are relevant and which are not. Those which are, are selected and checked as YES. Those which aren't are checked as NO:

These options identify what infrastructure aspects could be interfered with or could be damaged by the work being done. The Permit Issuer and Permit Requester work together to determine which hazards are relevant and which are not. Those which are, are selected and checked as YES. Those which aren't are checked as NO:

Some of the environmental work hazards check options have layer 2 effects, so when they are selected, they will cause specific precautions to be displayed further on in the Environmental tab.
