Approve Tab

What are the basic components of the Approve tab, in OHS Online?

So, we're almost done with the PTW! That's great news! Let's get it done! The Approve tab is made up of three parts, section 15, section 16 and the Hand-back Confirmation and Final Approval section. This aim of this tab is to summarise and close off aspects of the PTW as they become relevant during the PTW process:

Section 15: Declaration and Approval: This becomes relevant at the point when all the PTW tabs have been reviewed and all the hazards and their safety precautions have been identified. At this point, the Permit Requester (contractor) needs to implement and ensure that all the relevant safety precautions are in place. The Permit Issuer (client) then makes checks with the Permit Requester to confirm these safety precautions are actually in place. This section summarises these processes and allows them to be checked and formalised and it contains the following main points:

1. Contractor Declaration and Permit Issuer Approval
2. Declaration of Controls

Section 16: Hand-back and Acceptance: This becomes relevant at the point when the Permit Requester (contractor) has completed the actual work which needed to be done. At this point, the Permit Requester (contractor) needs to confirm the work is done with the Permit Issuer (client) and then, together they check the work area to confirm the area is all in good order and ready for operations to continue. This section summarises this process and allows checks to be made and formalised and it contains the following main point:

1. Site Hand-back and Acceptance

Hand-back Confirmation and Final Approval: This provides a confirmation statement and final signing-off process of the PTW.
