Can you explain in more detail, Stage 1: Completion of mandatory tabs of the Permit to Work (PTW) system, in OHS Online?

Sure thing! Stage 1 refers to the first four tabs of the PTW system, which are all compulsory and need to be completed in the PTW. These tabs include the following:

1. Work Permit Tab: This tab is the first tab and is completed by the Permit Issuer (PI) working with the Permit Requester (PR). Here the basic contractor details are inputted, as well as the administrative requirements of the PTW. The actual work the contractor will be doing is analysed to see what specific activities may be involved which need to be checked to be included in the PTW set-up.
2. Risk Assessment Tab: This is the second tab of the PTW and is completed by the PI working with the PR. Here, the PI works with the PR to complete the task risk assessment for the work to be done by the contractor.
3. PPE Tab: This is the third tab and is completed by the PI working with the PR. Here, the PI works with the PR to establish the PPE requirements for the work to be done, based on the tasks from the risk assessment.
4. Environmental Tab: This is the fourth and last tab of the first set of mandatory tabs to be completed by the PI working with the PR. Here the PI works with the PR to determine whether the work to be done has any detrimental effects on the environment and to determine whether any of the work to be done can have a detrimental effect on the client's infrastructure.
