Compliance and your findings in an inspection

This is a very important question! When an inspection is conducted and findings are noted, these findings will affect your compliance rating negatively. In the same way an audit finding affects your compliance, so too does an inspection finding. This makes sense, since inspections are a form of checking your workplace and noting any concerns which may affect health and safety.

When an inspection finding is made, it has to affect your compliance negatively, in order to ensure that the finding is actioned and resolved. Once it is resolved, the finding is removed and your compliance rating will increase.
